In the article “Tapping Tech for Smoother Traffic”, Tay (2018) emphasizes on the use of smart technology to improve the traffic system in Singapore over the years. Since Singapore’s independence, its main challenge is to accommodate to the increasing population with limited amount of space available. Tay claimed that the current system, 1975 Area Licensing Scheme (ALS) requires intensive manual labor which can be physically exhausting. The case study mentioned that Land Transport Authority (LTA) has approached the issue by introducing an automated system called Intelligent Transport System (ITS).     Hi Tiara, the summary outline was elaborated clearly however there are a few points that my team would like to highlight.

    1) Citation presented were clear. (Sophisticated)

    2) Key points are paraphrased clearly. (Sophisticated)

    3) Firstly, we feel that the main point doesn’t consist of supporting the first statement. It directly explain about the problems. (Developing)

    4) Secondly, you specifically mentioned one example of the development for transport system [This shows that the summary only mentioned 1 of the problem yet it is not the only solution to the problem] (Developing)
